Being a ranker and a mentor as well, I have always observed this topper and average divide amongst the CA classrooms. Well…, the question is even valid if teachers are the same, if the material is the same or if everything is the same then why do some score more and some struggle to pass? A simple answer would be that they make this extra effort, but is it justice to state that others are not making the extra effort.

They take rests, relax and rejoice
You might have listened to a lot of interviews and thus made a perception that achievers study all day long and never relax or rejoice. But the truth is the top-ranking students always take more systematic time off than average students and always leverage the +ves of resting.

Time Management is the Key
You may always be stuck between coaching, travelling, daily chores and studying but the scorers are those who manage their time most efficiently. Time is a precious resource, First of all, this needs to be identified and then you should always follow routines and schedules seriously. You must have seen your nerd friend always equipped with a time-table, actually, this helps a lot! Time tables shall be flexible but shall be followed religiously.

Notes, matter a lot!
You might not give a thought to note-making in this digital era but the long term benefits of notes can never be denied. Toppers are always
observed maintaining clear and clean notes and while making these, they also grasp things many times better than others. Notes also serve as the fastest recall method during revisions.

Revise, Revise and Revise
Studies have shown time and again that revision is the best way to cement some funda in your mind. Rankers usually are addicted to revisions, whether before exams or on exam day.
