The veterans, they’ve seen it all, experienced it all; had hardships probably harder than yours; had insecurities and fears, probably more than yours. This is based on the precious advice of many successful people around the world that will help you reconsider your own ideals, beliefs and push yourself forward towards sustainable success.

You need to stop reacting to those who advise you not to follow your dreams, or make you feel like you lack the matter needed to do it. Be neutral, be non-reactive to such individuals. Your success will shut their mouths.

Your degree is a mark of your hard-work, no doubt; your degree also defines your profession, and respect to an extent but your success in life lies way beyond your degree. Just your degree is not a determiner of your success and of your worth. Whatever happens in life, it is more than a document, you are more than a document.

Your learning doesn’t end the day you get your license. Life, with its uncertainty, throws challenges every now and then and every phase demands a modified version of you. Thus, learning continues hand-in-hand with adaptation towards the world. You’ll be forced to learn each day, it’s a fast-changing world and it’s a cruel world.

Once your actions and decisions are guided by your soul, and your instinct; you do not need external sources of motivation. Intrinsic motivation (motivation from within) comes when your goals are aligned with your soul. So always listen to your inner calling, never suppress it.

One of the easiest ways to set life right is to organize your priorities and announce them to your mind. Arrange them on a hierarchy, don’t be excessively harsh on yourself.

Now that you’ve taken a decision defined by your soul, stick to it, OWN IT. You’ve chosen a path, tread on it while confiding in your abilities to be able to do it. Self-Confidence takes you places where it is otherwise impossible to reach. Self-confidence strengthens motivation.

Do not let success get to your head, be grounded, be humble. Humility makes you a life-long learner and saves you from the mistakes that you can otherwise make while being vain-glorious. Being driven by vanity, being intoxicated by superiority complexes is slow death.

All the very best, dear students.
